VW Logo Brake Light for your Vanagon
News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - May 25, 2006

(view image)

Are you a VW Vanagon owner trying to spice up your ride? Those of you who own a Vanagon know that there is no third brake light. BrazilShopping.com offers this VW logo third brake light. Each light consists of about 30 LED's to warn the vehicle behind you that you are braking. The light attaches with self-adhesive and rubber lining.

The folks at Vanagonauts have implemented the logo light on their vanagon and provide installation details.

"The Logo light wires go right thru the hole that the badge used for attachment. I spliced some zip cord right into the light assy at the passenger side brake light terminals and ran the cord up the side where the hatch seals to the body. I tacked the cord with RTV to hold it.

The cord goes up to the top right of the hatch where it follows the rear window heater wires into the hatch thru a grommet. Remove your hatch trim inside and you will be able to fish the wire down to the light. "
